Our take
Hello Elementor is not meant to be used on its own: it is a blank, fast canvas for building everything with Elementor. If you plan to design your header, footer and templates with Elementor Pro's theme builder, it is the natural base. Without Elementor it looks bare, so choose a full theme instead.
Good
- Extremely light and fast
- Made by the Elementor team
- No design choices getting in Elementor's way
Watch out
- Almost no options without Elementor
- Full header and footer design needs Elementor Pro
Works well with
- Elementor
- Elementor Pro
About this theme
Hello Elementor is a minimalist theme with one purpose: to give the Elementor page builder a clean, fast starting point. It loads very little code of its own and leaves layout, colors and typography to Elementor.
Who should use it
It suits people who build their whole site with Elementor, especially with Elementor Pro, where the theme builder controls headers, footers, archives and single post templates. The free Elementor plugin works with it too, but you’ll find fewer layout options in the theme itself than in a multipurpose theme.
Good to know
- Free and open source, maintained by Elementor
- Optimized for performance
- Basic header and footer settings are available
- Best paired with Elementor or Elementor Pro
