Business Hours & Holiday Schedule Manager

by webtendhq
Tested with WP 7.1.3 Updated today Free, GPLv2

Our take

A tidy, focused plugin for any business people visit in person: shops, cafés, clinics, salons. Split shifts, holiday closures that repeat every year and the opening-hours schema are all free, and it makes no outside requests. It is brand new with only a handful of installs, so keep an eye on updates before relying on it for a busy site.

Good

  • Live Open or Closed badge that updates without a reload
  • Holidays that repeat yearly, plus up to four time slots a day
  • Opening hours schema for search engines, no code
  • No external requests, no jQuery

Watch out

  • Very new, few installs and no reviews yet
  • One location per site

This plugin answers the question every local business gets asked: are you open right now? You enter your week once, add the days you close or work shorter hours, and the plugin shows the right status to every visitor, based on your own timezone rather than the server’s clock.

Hours can appear as a full weekly table, a single line with today’s times, or just a small badge such as “Closes at 5:00 PM”. You place them with a block, a classic widget, a shortcode or an Elementor widget. An optional thin bar across the top of the site can tell visitors when you are closed and when you open again.

Main features

  • Weekly schedule with presets such as Monday to Friday, 9 to 5
  • Up to four time slots per day for lunch breaks and split shifts
  • Holiday closures and short days, single dates or ranges, optionally repeating every year
  • Live status badge, refreshed every minute
  • JSON-LD schema with your address, phone and opening hours
  • Block, widget, shortcode and Elementor widget

Fill in your business name, address and phone in the settings so the schema is complete.
