Rank Math SEO

by Rank Math SEO
Tested with WP 7.1.3 Free, GPLv2

Our take

Rank Math packs more into its free version than any other SEO plugin: several focus keywords, a schema builder, redirects and a 404 log. That makes it the best value if you want one plugin to cover everything. The price is a busier dashboard, so switch off the modules you don't use during setup.

Good

  • Redirects and 404 monitor included free
  • Schema templates for products, recipes, FAQs and more
  • Modules can be turned on and off

Watch out

  • Lots of settings can overwhelm beginners
  • AI writing tools need paid credits
  • Frequent prompts to upgrade

Rank Math is an all-in-one SEO plugin. A setup wizard detects your site type, imports settings from Yoast or All in One SEO if you used them before, and connects Google Search Console so you can see clicks and impressions without leaving WordPress.

The plugin is split into modules. Keep the ones you need, such as sitemaps, schema, redirections or image SEO, and switch off the rest so the dashboard stays focused.
